Reference Stallion – FÜRSTENBALL
FÜRSTENBALL
Fürstenball is just gorgeous. He’s a winner in every respect: after selling for the record price of EUR 110,000 at the Vechta auction as a foal in 2006, he was champion stallion in Oldenburg two years later and the most outstanding candidate in his licensing test in 2009, with the highest overall and dressage index. None of the other stallions came anywhere close to Fürstenball’s excellent dressage index of 154.98 points. He was awarded a score of 9.0 or higher a total of 16 times and he also received the highest score in the rideability discipline.
Fürstenball is descended from Oldenburg’s “champion bloodline” which, including him, has produced two champion stallions in succession, plus the second reserve champion Hot Spot by Hotline in 2009. Fürstenball also boasts three state premium mares with elite status in his pedigree alongside Fürst Heinrich, the unforgettable winner of the World Championship of Five Year-Old Dressage Horses. He is also carries the blood of the legendary dressage sire, Donnerhall, who adds an even higher concentration of performance genes to his pedigree. Classiker by Calypso II’s genes and Nevado xx’s thoroughbred blood add the final refining touch. Furstenball’s son Follow Me was the 2012 young horse champion in Germany and was just stunning.
