The infamous KWPN dressage stallion has become the Dressage sire of the Decade. He has surpassed the legendary Donnerhall to become the number 1 ranked sire of dressage horses in the world.
Born in 1991 in the Netherlands and bred by Huub and Tiny van Helvoirt he has gone on to become a legend in the world of dressage.
He was performance tested in 1994 with impressive scores 8 for walk, 9.5 for trot, and 8.5 for his canter, 9’s for trainablility, behaviour and overall training.

His foals are stunning all showing a very uniform riding horse type. The foals typically have an expressive head, strong hindleg, and good topline. Their movement is very good and most foals prefer to trot.
Jazz remained a popular choice for breeders in the Netherlands, siring over 100 foals each year.

By the age of thirteen Jazz was trained and competed at Grand Prix level by Tineke Bartels. The pair were a member of the Dutch team at the 2002 World Equestrian Games winning also the CDI in Eindhoven. In 2005 Broere Jazz returned to the competition ring with Jazz’s leading rider Kirsten Beckers at the national dressage show in Boxtel, the Netherlands to win the Grand Prix with 70.63%.
