Senora is a beautiful 2005 bay Branded German Hanoverian mare (Sandro Hit x Rotspon x Laurie’s Crusador xx).   Senora is a proven broodmare. She has produced 3 stunning foals to date. The eldest of the 3 foals by Florestan was sold to Germany. Senora’s other foals are just starting their performance careers.   We are very fortunate to have Senora join us and we look forward to having many world class foals from her. She has a great pedigree, wonderful conformation, and powerful movement.

Her sire, Sandro Hit is known for his dominant breeding performance. Very few stallions have managed to become a legend during their lifetime. Descendants of Sandro Hit are modern, harmonious, and equipped with excellent movement and almost flawless conformation. He has sired 185 licensed stallions, including several champion stallions, and championship winners. He has sired 11 winners of the German national championships. Sandro Hit himself was a German national champion, World Champion of six year old dressage horses and trained up to Grand Prix. A legend in his own time.

Senora’s dam sire Rotspon is another top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the winner of the stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with great rideability, outstanding movement and high ability for dressage. He also has an above average jumping technique.

Senora’s grand sire on the dam’s side is Laurie’s Crusador xx. Laurie’s Crusador has been one of the most influential thoroughbred stallions for German warmblood breeding. He sired 2713 foals, 264 mares became state premium and 55 sons were licensed. His most renowned licensed offspring include Londonderry, Lancier, Laurentio, Longchamp and Heslegards Louis. No less than 712 offspring were registered for sport. In 2006, the Hanoverian society proclaimed a non-Hanoverian stallion for the first time stallion of the year.

With these impressive bloodlines Senora is a valuable addition to our broodmare family.   She is in the Main Mare Books with the Hanoverian Verband and Westphalian Verband with high scores.
